Juniors

The Juniors program is a 9-month competitive program focused on developing each young soccer player's skill and love of the game. Juniors prepares players to progress at the Classic level and beyond through a dedicated coaching staff that provides quality, age appropriate instruction at these key age groups.

Evaluations

All players interested playing in our Juniors program must attend our annual evaluations. Evaluations for the 2018-2019 season are held in May. If your player has a conflict, please email Andrew.Tait@NCFCYouth.com.

Trainings & Seasons

Our 9-month program is made up of 3 seasons: fall, winter, and spring.

Fall (August-beginning of November) and Spring (February-May)
Fall and Spring are the primary seasons for the Juniors program. Juniors players train twice a week 90 minutes each training session.

Winter (December & January)

A total of 4 training sessions and 2 play dates will be scheduled during the Winter season. Training sessions are reduced in order to allow our young players the downtime to recharge and try-other activities or sports.

Coaching Staff

Juniors Director
Andrew Tait

The Juniors program has a Full time director, who is supported by regional and age group directors who help manage the coaches, players and program to ensure a high quality offering for families in the Triangle area. Our players get to work with passionate and experienced coaches who are paid for their ability to teach young players and share their love for the game.

Junior Elite Teams

Top 2009 players identified at Junior Evaluations will be invited to the Junior Elite teams. Juniors Elite Teams will be formed in each region depending upon quality of players at Evaluations and the Director's discretion.

These teams will function similar to a 2008 Classic team:
• Train 3x week
• Compete against '08 teams
• Have team managers, team fees, attend 3-4 tournaments
