NCFC Youth adds depth to female coaching staff with new hire Jamie Corti

NCFC Youth is excited to announce that Jamie Corti's is joining our club as Camps Program & Events Coordinator. In addition to Jamie's new role within the Tournaments Department, she will also be coaching two Girls Classic teams. Though it is her first day on the job, this is not her first day within the club. Jamie is an alumna of our program, and the club is excited to have her back full time.

Jamie was born in Florence, Italy, and became a North Carolinian at the age of 10. Soon after the move, Jamie became a member of NCFC Youth and was with the club until her senior year. She then furthered her soccer career at UNC Greensboro (2004-2008), where she was part of a four-time South Conference Championship team. While playing at UNC Greensboro, Jamie was 1st Team All-Conference, two-time team captain, team MVP (2007, 2008), and 3rd Team All-Region (2007).

Jamie’s has dedicated her post-collegiate career to coaching players at the collegiate and youth level. She was an assistant coach at UNC Greensboro (2011-2012), Virginia Commonwealth University (2012), University Central Florida (2013-2016) and Campbell University (2016-2019). Most recently, Jamie worked at Loudoun Soccer Club in Northern Virginia as a Recreation Program Coordinator and assisted in providing on-field programming for players ages 3 to 18.

"I've been fortunate to be involved in the game in every facet – as a youth and college player, and as a youth and college coach. My roles have changed through the years, but my objective has always stayed the same: to provide opportunities for personal growth, development, and enjoyment through the game,” says Jamie. “Moving back to Raleigh and working at the club that started my soccer journey is a full-circle moment. NCFC Youth is regarded as one of the best clubs in the country for player development, and I'm looking forward to being part of the team".

It has been a club’s goal to bring experienced female coaches into NCFC Youth, and it is exciting to add depth to our coaching staff, especially on the female side, for our girls’ program.
