Financial Policies

Acceptance or registration on a NCFC Youth team confirms a player’s commitment to the team, the Club, and the fees associated with membership for a full year. Players are financially obligated for the full Club Fee at the time of acceptance regardless of whether they choose to complete the full payment at the time of acceptance or select the installment plan.

Refund Policy- Effective June 1, 2016
NCFC Youth will review requests for an adjustment to Club Fees in the case of a significant injury or relocation. To initiate this review, please complete the form on the NCFC Youth website and clearly explain the circumstances. Please note that refunds will not be issued due to a player's academic performance or "work load". Any adjustment or refund of Club Fees will be determined on a case by case basis by management. Administrative fees may apply.

All requests for a Club Fee review or refund must be submitted within one month of the end of the regular season. Under no circumstances will refunds be provided after July 15th.

Where possible, refunds will be provided in the same manner in which payment was made and by check if payment was made via cash. Please allow 7-10 days for NCFC Youth's staff to review your request and communicate the decision.

Significant Injury
As a benefit of membership, all players have access to NCFC Youth’s Athletic Trainers to assist with recovery. Should a significant injury occur that results in a substantial loss of play or participation in club benefits, a review of the player’s Club Fee can be initiated by completing the refund form on the NCFC Youth website. A significant injury is defined as an injury that results in a player not being able to participate in team activities for more than a six-week timeframe. A doctor’s note and a request to see NCFC Youth’s Athletic Trainer to confirm the severity of the injury may be requested.

Consideration for relocations outside the general Wake County area will be given. Please complete the refund form on the NCFC Youth’s website with specific circumstances to begin a review.

Installment Plan 2019-2020 Season
The Club Fee is due when a spot is accepted on a roster. NCFC Youth offers an Installment Plan to help reduce the upfront financial obligation. The payment amounts and dates do not coincide with the training schedule and are not to be considered “training fees” or “monthly fees”. Each payment must be made in full by the specified dates to remain eligible.

All families will initially be set up on automatic, recurring payments. If you are moved to a manual payment the following will apply:

o Email reminders will be sent 7 days prior to when the payment is due.
o A $20 late fee will be assessed for any payments not made within 10 days of the due date.
o Players will be ineligible to participate in any NCFC Youth activities if payment is not received by the last day of the month and will remain ineligible until payment is made.

Mid-Season Withdraws
Players who choose to withdraw from their Juniors, Classic, Academy or ECNL team once team acceptance is completed for reasons other than significant injury or relocation will not be eligible for a refund and will be responsible for completing any remaining payments owed through the installment plan along with any remaining team fees owed to date. Permission to re-roster with another club through NCYSA or US Club Soccer will not be granted until all fees have been paid. Permission to register for NCFC Youth future tryouts will not be granted until all outstanding balances have been paid to NCFC Youth and the player’s team.

I have read and understand all the policies and code of conduct defined on this form. I confirm my commitment to the entire Club Fee for the 2019-2020 season. If I selected the installment plan when completing acceptance, I will make all installment payments according to their due dates.
I have read this agreement and accept this agreement as part of my commitment to North Carolina FC Youth and acknowledge the consequences of not abiding by this agreement.
