Recreation Program

Fall Registration Still Open!
Though our Registration Deadline has passed, we are still accepting fall registrations and will do our best to place your player on a team. If a spot not available, you will be notified and reimbursed your registration fee in full.

The NCFC Youth Recreation Program is one of the largest volunteer-based soccer programs in the country, with more than 6,000 players annually. The Recreation Program serves Cary, Garner, Raleigh, Wake Forest, Holly Springs, Fuquay Varina, Durham, and Chapel Hill. Offered to players ages 4-19, Recreation soccer offers an introductory, fun playing environment for players of all skill levels.


New users must create an account through BlueSombrero to register for available programs within our club.

Age Groups & Format

Our Recreation Program is offered to players in Pre-K - 12th Grade. The program is designed for beginner level players and those looking to have fun. Our Recreation program encourages developmental growth but focuses on the love of the game in a positive and enjoyable environment.

Players select a designated region during registration, which determines where practices (and games for Pre-K - 3rd grade players) are. We place players on teams in their selected area and use home addresses to try and keep kids in the same neighborhood on the same team.

Pre-K - Kindergarten: Games/practice is located in your selected region.
2nd - 3rd Grade: Games and practices are located in your selected region.
4th - 9th Grade
: Games can be at other areas in the NCFC system.

Club Fees

Recreation players will be required to pay the Recreation Club Fee upon registration. Club fees help cover the costs of fields, referees, coaching education, US Club Soccer fees, and program administration.

Uniform Fees

All Pre-K - 6th Grade players are required to purchase the adidas NCFC Youth Recreation jerseys through Players will need to purchase both the grey (home jersey) and navy (away jersey) kits. Click here to learn more.

All 7th Grade teams are required to purchase adidas NCFC Youth Recreation jerseys through Teams will select 1 of 14 different colors to use as their home jersey in addition to the required grey alternate jersey/practice shirt. Click here to learn more.

8th - 12th Grade teams are NOT required to purchase adidas NCFC Youth Recreation jerseys through However, ALL teams must have two jerseys with numbers. We have a great uniform template that makes ordering easy and convenient. Teams can select from 1 of 14 different colors for your home jersey in addition to being able to get a grey alternate jersey/practice shirt.
