NCFC Youth After School Program | |
NCFC Youth’s After-School Soccer Program is a collaborative effort between local schools and NCFC Youth to open-up the game of soccer to kids from underserved communities who would otherwise not have the opportunity to play. Through this program, our goal is to make it convenient and affordable for players and families to participate, while engaging kids in a positive, structured after-school activity where they can learn life skills through participation including teamwork, leadership, sportsmanship, enhanced self-esteem, and confidence among many others. Most importantly, we want kids to have fun in a safe environment and provide them with the opportunity to learn and grow on and off the field.

After-School programs are led by a school volunteer(s) with support from NCFC Youth:
- Practice sessions/curriculums designed by NCFC youth staff
- On-field equipment provided to school for program use (starter pack includes 12 balls, set of pug goals, cones, and 12 training bibs)
- School “teams” participate in game days organized by NCFC Youth staff
- Game formats are designed for age appropriate play and to maximize player development
- Special appearances by NCFC and NC Courage professional soccer players
