Coach of the Season

Each season, parents and players nominate a Recreation or Challenge coach who has gone above and beyond the duty of "coach".

Spring 2025 Volunteer Coaches of the Season

Congratulations to our Spring 2025 Coaches of the Season! We are proud to have you on our team and applaud your continued commitment to the development of our players! The following coaches were nominated by their team for going above and beyond the duty "coach" and selected to receive a gift certificate to SOCCER.com!

Here's what some of our parents and players had to say about their Coach of the Season

Following are excerpts from some of the nominations received for coaches for both the Challenge and Recreation programs.

Recreation

Second Grade• Tyson Stutsman

"Coach Tyson always encourages me to play hard and have fun. He makes sure I know when I'm doing a great job and when there are things I can do better. My teammates and I love to play soccer together because of coach Tyson!"

7th Grade • Amanda Henderson

"Amanda puts her heart and soul into every season she coaches. This was her 8th season with the Doves and she went above and beyond to coach the girls to be connected, learn skills, and to work as a unified team."

High School • Kevin Hidenfelter

"Kevin is an amazing role model for our boys. He has a deep understanding of the game and is an excellent communicator. It is hard to pick one core value that he represents as he exemplifies all of them! He helps push our team to be their best, but, where he truly shines is in his relationship with the players. He is able to connect with the players, he knows about their life outside of soccer, and truly makes the team a special place for each of them. Our team would not be the same without Coach Kevin! Thank you, Coach!"

Challenge

U13 • Kristen Reynolds

"Coach Kristen is an amazing coach that cares about each individual player and recognizes their unique talents. Not only does she help the boys sharpen their skills, but she also puts an emphasis on good sportsmanship and team work. She encourages and expects hard work, team work, passion, and good sportsmanship from each player. She encourages parents to clap for both teams, to be respectful to the referees, and not to shout negativity from the sidelines. Coach Kristen has a real love for the sport, and she wants the players to continue to have fun playing soccer."

U14 • David Simms

"Inspires to be better citizens of the world by showing what is expected. Either win or loss playing the best. Whether your team or the opponents team needs help ready to throw his voice. An amazing and strong presence on the field to drive kids to be better individuals. Communicates with care to support all questions. Always patient to understand the situation. Always will get along with parents and guides them by educating them patiently."

HS • Stacy Olive

"I've been with Coach Stacy for 7 years. She is my 2nd Mom. She always sees the best in me. I wouldn't want anyone else as my coach. No one is more deserving than her!"

Thank you, coaches!
