Tryout Registration
All new players interested in being assessed for NCFC Youth's Juniors, Challenge, Classic, or NPL Program need to create an account in Playmetrics prior to being evaluated on the field and placed on a team for the upcoming 2026-27 season. Parents or Guardians should create and account in their name and then add each participating child as a participant in the account. If you have an existing Playmetrics account with NCFC Youth, login to Playmetrics and complete the Intent to Play for the 2026-27 season. All players new to the club need to create a Playmetrics account with NCFC Youth in order to complete the Intent to Play form.
Returning NCFC Classic players are also required to complete the Intent to Play form in your Playmetrics account in order to be considered for team placement for the 2026-27 season. Current Challenge players who wish to return to their Challenge team do not need to complete an Intent to Play.
Specific questions regarding the tryout process and player placement process should be directed to the Regional Director of the region your son / daughter is participating.
Please note that U.S. Youth Soccer, US Club Soccer, and the Association Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) collectively announced a major update to age group formation that will take effect beginning with the 2026–27 seasonal year. This change moves away from the current calendar-year (January–December) model and returns to a seasonal-year (August–July) model for age grouping. Please see this page for more information.
