NCFC Youth Impresses in first NPL Season

North Carolina FC Youth began their first season in the National Premier Leagues (NPL) league (operated through US Club) this fall and have impressed in the opening weekends of play against strong competition from across the league, which includes clubs such as James Island Youth SC, Charlotte Metro FC, FC Athletico, Charleston SC, and more.

NCFC Youth’s NPL Director & South Regional Director Jason "Buddha" Keyes reflected on the start of the season, saying, "After the first few weeks of games, I am optimistic that NCFC will be very competitive in this new league and will look to make our mark in the coming years."

NCFC Youth will have one team competing in the East Conference within the South Atlantic division of the NPL from each of the U13 – U19 age groups for both the boys and girls divisions. Acceptance into the league will provide players on participating teams the opportunity to compete against fellow NPL clubs.

The National Premier Leagues (NPL) provides a unified national developmental platform to various member leagues throughout the country. The NPL’s mission is to facilitate more meaningful games, reduce travel and provide a pathway to postseason competition.
