About the Program
North Carolina FC Youth joined the National Premier Leagues in Fall of 2024.
The National Premier Leagues (NPL) provides a unified national developmental platform to various member leagues throughout the country. The NPL’s mission is to facilitate more meaningful games, reduce travel and provide a pathway to postseason competition.
Program highlights include:
- Train 3/week with a game on the weekend
- Teams train primarily on turf
- Led by paid staff coaches
- Goalkeeper training 2/week
- Access to Athletic Training Staff included in club fees
Tryouts
Tryout Information
Tryout dates for all NPL programs will begin in May and are sent via invitation. All tryout invitations for the 2025-26 season have been sent out.

Team Fees
Team Fees will vary by team and are dependent on tournament fees, travel costs and other variable costs associated with each team’s respective level of play. Team fees are collected by team treasurers and can be paid in installments over the course of the year.
Uniforms
Fall 2025 marks the first year of our 2 year Adidas uniform cycle, which will run through Spring of 2027. More information and uniform links will be released soon.
