NCFC Youth is wrapping up a record breaking 2022-2023 season on-field that welcomed 16,000+ youth players across all levels, regions, and ages of play. These 16,000+ players are led on-field first and foremost by our 1,600+ volunteer and seasonal coaches and supported by our amazing staff and directors who are dedicated to ensuring NCFC Youth lives our mission of providing positive, high quality soccer opportunities at all levels of play.

Included here are some announcements to share as we look forward to welcoming our players, coaches, and families back for the Fall 2023 season:

Bradley Morrison takes on the new role of Director of Coaching Education & Coach Development. Morrison is a USSF A Licensed Coach who has been coaching in our Boys Academy program. Come July 1, he will be invested in supporting all programs in the club with a focus on coach development. This is the first time the club has designated a single hub for all coaching education and coach development. Coaches, and ultimately players, will benefit from a centralized place for development & education, information and resources, learning opportunities, and more.

Kendall Fletcher White moves into ECNL Girls Program. White will coach the U13 & U19 ECNL Girls teams in 2023-2024, while also supporting other teams in the program as an assistant coach. She will officially start in her new role on August 1. She is currently enrolled in her USSF A License course as she continues her coaching education and development. White grew up playing in the club, was a standout at UNC Chapel Hill, and has logged many professional appearances across international and domestic professional women’s leagues.

Hannah Sink is Durham Chapel Hill Girls Classic Director. After dedicating the past year to players, coaches, and families in our Recreation department, Sink is excited to transition into a Regional Director role with the club. She’s been coaching in the Juniors & Classic programs while working in the Recreation department, so this will be an easy transition as she works closely with the Durham Chapel Hill players, coaches, and families to create a great all-around experience. She will continue to be supported by Cindy Cone in this role.

Taylor Adcock returns to full-time as NC Courage Younger Girls Director. Taylor has spent the past few seasons as a team coach for the U12 NC Courage and focusing on her family, which includes her two children, Raymie and Oakes. Beginning July 17, Taylor will be back in a full-time role as the  U11/U12 NC Courage Girls Director. Adcock just completed her USSF B License, and we are excited to have her back and engaging with more of our girls players and their families. Taylor is an alum of NCFC Youth. She went on to play at Campbell University and then professionally before returning to the game as a coach.

Brett Malone’s role expands to include being the Elite64 (E64) Boys Director. In addition to serving as the U13-U19 Boys North Regional Director, Malone will be the E64 Boys Director. E64 clubs have a proven track record of developing players and reputations for putting the players first on and off the field. NCFC Youth is proud to be part of this program on the boys side, where prominent clubs across the country have made a commitment to making it a strong program. Malone has his USSF A License, and prior to taking on a Regional Director Role, Malone has been the Recreation Director, Challenge Director and Staff Coach in Classic & ECNL Boys.

Raphael Galliou to be Holly Springs & Fuquay Varina Classic Director. Raphael has spent the past few seasons in our Recreation department as an area administrator, while also coaching in the Juniors & Classic programs. Prior to joining NCFC Youth full-time, Galliou was a part-time coach in the Juniors program. His passion for coaching began while he was attending Appalachian State University, and he started coaching at High Country Soccer Association while there. He played youth soccer in France and Germany and is an NCFC Youth (CASL 96 Premier Black) Alum. Galliou has his “C” Coaching License and is preparing to sign up to pursue his “B” license soon.

Cindy Cone will be taking on a new role within the club as she continues her commitment as the President of U.S. Soccer. Cone will continue to support Hannah Sink in her transition to Durham Chapel Hill region until her new role is announced.

The Recreation Department welcomes new hires Christine Rocchio, Glendon Young, and Danny Carlyon. Christine has supported our Recreation department on a part-time basis and has also been a coach in our Juniors program. She has hit the ground running within our Recreation department since she started June 12. Glendon joined NCFC Youth as a seasonal staff coach 18 months ago and has been coaching in our Juniors and JDP programs. He moved to the U.S. in 2020 from Jamaica and spent some time working with Soccer Shots prior to joining us full-time.  Danny moves into a full-time role after being a part-time seasonal coach in our Juniors and Classic program for several years. All are in the office and excited to bring their passion for the game to our Recreation players, families, and coaches.

More announcements will be made as we get closer to the fall season and round out our staff for the 2023-2024 year.
