Prevención del abuso

NCFC Youth is committed to providing a safe environment for all players and preventing abusive conduct in any form. NCFC Youth has zero tolerance for abuse  in all ages, programs, and club activities. It is the responsibility of every coach, volunteer, parent, and player to participate in the collaborate effort to ensure our athletes are protected while enjoying the game they love. Providing that environment requires all of us to be educated on best practices and prevention strategies and act when the time comes to report suspicious behavior. 

NCFC Youth ha implementado varias políticas para ayudar a proteger el entorno en el que participan nuestros atletas. Nuestras Políticas de Seguridad para Atletas y Participantes abordan varias áreas enumeradas donde los entrenadores, las familias y los atletas pueden reducir el riesgo de interacciones inapropiadas, que incluyen:

• Reporting Requirements 

Todos los entrenadores juveniles y directores de equipo de NCFC deben completar el Curso Básico de Formación en SafeSport, que abarca la Concientización sobre Conducta Sexual Inapropiada, la Denuncia Obligatoria y la Conducta Física y Emocional Inapropiada. Cada año, los entrenadores y directores de equipo completarán los Cursos de Actualización de SafeSport para mantenerse al día con la información más reciente sobre la prevención de conductas inapropiadas y la creación de un ambiente deportivo positivo.

SafeSport también ofrece cursos y kits de herramientas gratuitos para padres y atletas, que sirven como introducción a la creación de un ambiente acogedor en el deporte, la identificación de conductas indebidas y la adopción de medidas para proteger a nuestros atletas. Given NCFC Youth’s zero tolerance for abuse, we encourage a culture of communication regarding matters that place an athlete or member at risk. Coaches, volunteers, parents, and players are expected to report any sexual misconduct, inappropriate or suspicious behaviors to us through our Abuse Report Form. All reports of inappropriate behaviors or suspicions of abuse will be reviewed by our Abuse Prevention Committee, who will determine next steps to comply with Federal Law and SafeSport Policies. All instances of suspected Child Abuse or Child Sexual Abuse are required to be reported to local law enforcement or Child Protective Services (CPS) within 24 hours.

If you are unsure as to whether you should report a situation, please report it! While most reports we receive are eventually referred to the correct soccer program to address, some reports are filed with Local Law Enforcement, Child Protective Services (CPS), SafeSport, or Soccer National Governing Bodies and require additional action to be taken at the NCFC Youth level.
