The team I play on is 07 Thunder,  a challenge team, and have been playing soccer for NCFC for about 5 years. Some of my favorite memories with NCFC is being able to see my best friends at practice every week! I cannot imagine my life without NCFC and all the amazing opportunities I’ve had with this club. Some of my hobbies outside of soccer include baking, crafting, and spending time with my friends. I wanted to be an NCFC youth ambassador because this is my chance to give back to this amazing club, I’ve met so many amazing people through NCFC, and I love that I am able to give back to the best of my ability. My go-to pre game snack has to be sliced watermelon!!!

I have also been playing soccer for about 12 years now. My favorite memory with the club was when I won my first ever tournament when I was on challenge. I like playing with NCFC Youth because I love being surrounded by people who share the same passion for soccer and coaches who want to make me better as a player and as a person. Outside of soccer, I enjoy hanging out with friends, traveling, and going to the gym. I wanted to be an NCFC Youth Ambassador because I wanted to get more experience in marketing and play a bigger role for NCFC Youth. My pre-game “musts” are eating a quest bar and listening to my pregame playlist.

I like playing with NCFC Youth because it has brought me so many great friends that I can call my second family. Outside of soccer I like to hangout with friends and go shopping or have sleepovers. I wanted to be a NCFC Youth ambassador because I want to learn more about sports marketing and I also wanted to see the impact soccer has made on others like me. Austin Krueger

Hi! I'm Austin! I’m 14 years old and I’m a freshmen at Apex Friendship High School. I’m currently on the 08 ECNL team and I’ve been with the club since the merge in 2017. I have been playing soccer since I was three years old. I have lots of great memories with the club. On the field, I love the tournament experience, big goals, and competing in different places against different teams. Off the field, it is the team dinners, hanging with my teammates in the lobby, seeing who could stay in the ice cold pool the longest, and that one time in Charleston a teammate decided to fail at running in slides on the treadmill. I like playing with the club because I've been able to grow a lot as a player and make great friends. Outside of soccer, I like to play Xbox with friends, Snapchat, participate in clubs at school, and volunteering in the community. I wanted to be an NCFC Youth Ambassador to learn more about social media and also share my experiences with the club. Usually for my pre-game meal I eat something light like some peanut butter crackers or a Z bar and always eat carbs the night before.

Outside of soccer, I love hanging out with friends, playing guitar/singing, and reading. I wanted to be an ambassador to learn more about and gain experience on the marketing side of businesses/sports teams, as well as promote NCFC because of how much I have learned from the club. I love playing with NCFC Youth as it’s such a welcoming, family like environment with everyone sharing their love of soccer with each other! While I’m not playing soccer, some of my other hobbies includes playing field hockey, cooking/baking, watching movies/tv shows, and hanging out with my friends and family! I wanted to be an NCFC youth ambassador for numerous reasons, some of which includes that I wanted to emphasize my love of soccer to everyone! I also wanted to show the world that no matter what differences you may have, you can still do the things you love! I also love to show people a glimpse of soccer through my eyes and the true joy NCFC has gifted people! My go-to pre-game snacks are pretzels and clementines! Sydney Scarbel

Hi, I'm Sydney and I am 17 years old, and a senior at Apex Friendship High School.  I currenlty play on 04 Elite G and have been playing with the club since the merger of TFC and CASL. I have been playing soccer for about 10 years now. All of my favorite memories from the club are when I am with my teammates.  Last year my team made it to regionals in Tennessee and we had a blast!  We were able to compete in the morning and then go explore downtown Nashville altogether.  I love playing for NCFC because I feel that I am in an environment where I am supported and pushed to be my best by all my teammates and coaches.  I also love the friendships I have made through NCFC with my past/current coaches and players. When I am not on the field you will most likely catch me spending time with friends/family or at the gym. I wanted to be an NCFC Youth Ambassador so I could share a first-hand view of the many great qualities of the organization.  I also wanted to continue to develop my interest in business marketing so I saw this as the perfect opportunity to work with two things I have a strong passion for.  My pre-game meal consists of eggs, one piece of bacon, and a banana.
