OFF SEASON DEVELOPMENT

About Off Season Development (OSD)

Our Off-Season Development Program is a Supplemental Training Program we offer to players who are not currently playing for their high school teams to continue to play, develop, and get touches on the ball during the dead period of club soccer, when the Boys High School (Fall) and Girls High School (Spring) soccer season takes place. Our focus in the program is on individual player development through technical applications, small sided games, and scrimmages. We also included Goalkeeper specific training once a week for any keepers who are interested in the program.

The sessions will focus on both the technical aspect of the game along with team play and small sided games. Technical sessions: High intensity technical training that will mostly deal with dribbling, passing, and first touch. The goal of the session is to get as many touches on the ball in 90 minutes focusing on repetition and proper technique. Team play sessions: allow players to tactically improve in game situations, apply technical aspects and improve decision making in situations. also included will be possession drills and finishing to goal. We will also have Goal Keeping staff joining us this year to provide specific training for all Keepers in the program.

Our goal is to significantly improve the technical, tactical, mental, and athletic ability of each player through the application of best practices developed from the training of our highest teams in the club. Teams will practice on Turf fields for all sessions in the Program.
